Expect the Best Results that Last.
We’re driven to deliver great results—and a great experience. We aim to make every visit encouraging, educational, and efficient. As a smaller practice, we run on time, with most appointments lasting 15 minutes or less, yet we never rush you or overbook.
The First Visit
At the first visit, one of our orthodontists will perform a thorough evaluation. We will be looking for issues that may already be a concern, such as overcrowding, misalignment, a bone deformity or an impacted tooth. Next, we will look for signs of problems on the horizon. This is especially important for younger patients because we have the chance to limit the long-term effects by beginning treatment while the face and jaw are continuing to grow. If needed, we will take digital scans of the teeth, create molds or request the patient’s records from their general dentist.
Follow Up Appointments
We measure our success in millimeters, so we’ll perform a detailed examination at every appointment. We’ll observe your progress and make any adjustments needed at that moment or we will adjust your treatment plan overall. Every detail matters to us.
We will answer any questions you have about your treatment plan or about what you will need to do until your next appointment (avoid certain foods, adjust a palatal expander, or wearing a device more consistently, for example). Parents of our child and teen patients are encouraged to join us for every appointment so we can answer their questions as well. Our staff will give you everything you need until your next appointment, such as elastic bands, wax or your next few Invisalign appliances.
Finally, you’ll make your appointment for your next visit. By scheduling the next appointment while you are the in the office, you can stay on schedule and avoid delays in the progress of the treatment.
